ON THE LIMIT YET FULLY IN CONTROL
Kauli's first Quad line hit the shelves in 2009 and became an instant favorite amongst international equipment tests and across the world's beaches. The performance advantages are so significant that everyone who tried it did not want to ride anything else anymore. The new line is another big step forward and pushes everyone's riding skills to a new level. Kauli is a perfectionist and never stops thinking of how to improve his equipment and comes up with new ideas all the time. His surfing background brought previously unused design features into windsurfing. The new Twinser Quad comes with the Quad fin set up (2 Twinser + 2 Side fins), it can alternatively be ridden as a Twinser (requiring 2 x 2cm larger Twinser fins than the standard Quad – not supplied). The boards feel more radical than ever, with a new riding sensation, and perform to a whole new level.

SHAPE
The outline curve is now a bit narrower between the straps and a little more drawn out towards the tail, completing to a more rounded pintail. The result is incredible. Dropping down the face of a wave into the bottom turn, the board speeds up like a rocket, accelerating into the turn and driving the rail super hard. The rounder pin tail in combination with the quad fins give you so much traction, guaranteeing to maintain your speed so the potential for big smacks and aerial maneuvers is unbelievable. Even in smaller waves you don't need to ride it on the back foot. They are so loose that you can carve them super tight choosing radical lines and performing the turn with buckets of spray. Acceleration and grip on the wave are not the only benefits of these adjustments. The straighter outline makes the boards also shine on the way out through the waves. The new fin set up works much more efficient. You can push harder and speed up much easier. It is helping to close the gap further on a single fin's performance edge in onshore and flat water. The new trim, fin and foot strap set up, guarantees a comfortable and natural stance with even pressure on both feet. The greater distance between the front and back strap allows the rider to change from front foot, to back foot pressure instantly, adjusting your turning radius as the wave demands itThe wider stance also enables to control the board better in more radical situations, lip slides, tweaked airs and radical aerial maneuvers. The boards still feature a double concave with Vee in the front, flowing into a double then single concave as we progress towards the tail. The Vee in the front helps to initiate the turn and makes it much easier to rock and roll from one rail to the other. The concaves towards the back give you the grip, which results in a great balance of power and control.

SUMMARY
Already last year we said here that everybody, no matter how experienced, will reach a new wave riding level with the JP Quad Wave boards. This is even more true for these new boards. The best part of it is that you will perform radical top turns and lip slides like never before. The side fins grip and grab you back in, pulling you back down the face of the wave. It's that feeling of being totally on the limit yet fully in control that makes these boards stand out as probably the best wave boards on the planet! With this new generation of Twinser Quads JP-Australia takes you further than any other brand into the progressive world of radical wave sailing.
