Glide 14'0'' Javelin
Naish Surfing 2011
Description
Flatwater Cruising and Racing
With the Naish Glide, you’ll never look at flat water the same way again. For everything from recreational paddling and fitness training to competitive racing, the Glide range sets a new standard in SUP. You’ll also look at windy days with a whole new sense of stoke by taking a downwind cruise every chance you get.
The Glide 14' 0" Javelin is designed for maximum speed in flat-water. It incorporates a low rocker displacement bow shape with soft-rounded rails to produce the most efficient ratio of paddle power to board glide. Unlike the Glide 14' 0", which is primarily designed for open ocean paddling where speed can be generated by gliding swells, the 14' javelin is focused on flat-water speed.
The Javelin's slender displacement hull shape, coupled with its soft rails, create an extremely efficient water line. At 26-1/8" wide, it is still stable enough for intermediate paddlers, yet provides the sleek streamlined properties that make it a race winner for the advanced paddler.
The Javelin slices through chop like a hot knofe through butter and provides outstanding acceleration and speed with minimal effort. It is the perfect board for long distance flat-water cruising, fitness training and racing.
